FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY

The Friends of the Powhatan County Public Library is a permanent, non-profit group organized to help build a stronger library for the community.  To this end, the Friends promote knowledge of library function, resources and services and attract bequests and gifts of books and manuscripts, money, or other appropriate materials beyond the resources of the library budget.

Meetings are held Tuesday mornings at 10:00am on the following dates in the library meeting room:

                                    January 18, 2005

                                    March 15, 2005

                                    June 21, 2005

                                    September 20, 2005

Membership in the Friends group is open to all individuals, families, businesses, and organizations.  There are three types of annual memberships available:

                                            Individual            $5
                                            Family                  $10
                                            Sustaining            $25

There is also one category of lifetime membership:

                                            Benefactor           $100
